Zip-lines
:  Makemie Woods houses three zip-line courses perfect for school group use because no experience or climbing is necessary.   Althought no climbing is necessary, the zip-lines stillf provide tons of adventure as participants soar over the reservior, trees and ravines.  The longest line is over 400' and 35' above ground at it's highest point. [Phys Ed 5.1, 5.5, 6.1,6.4]

High Ropes:   The College of William & Mary, has a sensational high and low ropes course located just 25 minutes from camp.  [Phys Ed 5.1, 5.5, 6.1,6.4] Two MW staff are facilitators for this course.  High ropes elements are not currently available on our property.

archery

Archery:
This class is taught entirely at Makemie Woods' range.  After a brief introduction that includes safety history of archery  participants spend  the rest of the period with bow and arrows in hand. [Phys Ed 5.1, 5.5, 6.1,6.4]
