For families who find themselves permanently or temporarily in a Single-Parent situation, welcome to a great family getaway, with the opportunity to make new friends, play games, dance, canoe, hike, swim, and rest in the serenity of the woods. Adult fellowship times and discussion will be led by a trained facilitator.

- COST: (see current brochure) Includes 2 nights + 5 meals. Some financial assistance available
- LOCATION: Makemie Woods is 13 miles west of Williamsburg VA
- LEADERSHIP, lifeguards, counselors, etc. is made up of volunteers from the Makemie Woods summer staff and the Presbytery of Eastern Virginia.
- HOUSING: Laurel Hall. Older campers will stay in like age groups with counselors, younger children (usually 6 and under) are housed with the parent. Usually two parents to a room.
- CHILDCARE will be provided for toddlers and pre-schoolers during the adult gatherings.
- TO REGISTER, use online registration or print the brochure and send with the non-refundable $25 fee or full amount due.
- Friday night: Registration (7:00 PM), Big Group Recreation, Adult Fellowship Time
- Saturday AM: Kids enjoy camp while parents gather for fellowship
- Saturday Afternoon: Family time to choose swimming, boating, hiking, crafts, volleyball...
- Saturday Evening: Intergenerational fun, campfire, late night movie options
- Sunday morning: Planning for worship, communion service, then lunch and departure. Pool open until 1:00.
