In addition to our summer program, Makemie Woods hosts the following events:

• Presbytery retreats for Middle and High School youth
• A training event for leaders of youth
  
• A Get-away weekend for Single-Parent Families , usually late May or early June
• A Summer Camp Open House, usually in April
• A Family Camp, usually in late summer
• A Presbytery-wide Picnic, usually in the early fall
  
• Winter Camp in December
  
• A staff reunion in December
• "First Friday" Senior Luncheons

Specific dates for many of these events are listed below:

June 1-3: Single-Parent Family Get-Away!
This annual weekend is great way to for single-parent families to get a break from their routines.  Kids do camp fun while parents get to have adult conversation and time for spiritual growth.

Sept 1-2: You and Me Camp
A Grandparent and grandchild, a Dad and his son, best friends reminiscing about their camp experiences… You and Me Camp is more than just family camp, it is an opportunity to get outside with someone you love and enjoy creation and adventure together. More details coming soon.
